The Manassas Heritage Railway Festival is one of the first big events we went to when we moved to Prince William County and is something that we look forward to every year. This is a very well attended event and it is definitely one the entire family can enjoy! The festival is free and offers a variety of live entertainment and elaborate model train displays. There is even a kid stage. The Boy Scouts sponsor and run a carnival with games to play for prizes, cotton candy and popcorn. There are also a variety of vendors there selling food. You can even buy tickets to take a train ride to Clifton and back.
We enjoy ourselves every year we go! We enjoy looking at the different model train displays and taking in the sights. Last year there was a kid train table set up where the children could actually touch and interact with the set-up. My girls loved it!
Check out some pictures from last year's fun!
