Playdoh creation
This is the first recipe I have used for non-cook playdoh.  I found it quite a bit sticky at first, but just kneaded in some more flour until the dough became more firm.  This recipe comes from easychildcrafts.com.  Check out their site for a number of different playdoh and clay recipes!

Play Dough Recipe

Ingredients: 2 cups flour, 1 cup salt, 1 cup water, 1 tablespoon cooking oil, extract of choice for fragrance (I used about a teaspoon, but could've added more)

Supplies needed:  measuring cups, measuring spoons, large bowl, wooden spoon

What to do:

  1. Measure out all of your ingredients.
  2. Mix the flour, salt, and water in a bowl.
  3. Add the oil (this keeps the dough from hardening).
  4. Add extract of your choice.
  5. Start mixing with a wooden spoon and then get your hands in there!
  6. Knead the playdoh until it is the consistency you want.
  7. Have fun!
