About
Welcome!
First and foremost, I am a child of God, the Master's daughter. I believe that He died and rose again to pay for my sins and that when my earthly body dies, I will spend eternity in heaven. He has blessed me with an awesome mother who has dedicated her life to Him and to her family. My mother often refers to herself as the "master" and her mother (Pap-poo, as I called her since I was young) as "sensei," hence I am also the master's daughter. My grandmother shared her pearls of wisdom with my mother who shared them (and her own!) with me and God-willing, I will share this wisdom with my children. Sadly, Pap-poo passed away the summer 2012. This site is dedicated to her.

I believe that God gives us all gifts. He has given me the gift of teaching and I love sharing ideas with others. As long as I can remember, I have been teaching in some capacity. First, it was my siblings. I loved playing teacher (especially during our summer breaks) and coming up with lessons, crafts and yes, even worksheets for my brother, sister and even stuffed animals to do! I was blessed to get to go to college and earn my Master's Degree in Elementary Education with majors in Math and History (I know, an odd combination, but science was practically my third major). Over the years, I was given the opportunity to teach children ranging in ages from 14 months to 5th grade. I also was the Education Director of a private preschool for several years. I missed teaching in the classroom, but I was able to teach the teachers and that was very rewarding in itself. Following that, I did substitute work in the public schools and finally worked at my church as the Children and Family Director. Needless to say, I love teaching! Now that I am a stay-at-home mama, I use this gift with my sweet blessings.
There has been a longing to continue to share my fun and educational ideas with others out there. Thus, the birth of this site! I will share activities I do at home with my girls as well as field trips and things we do while out and about. These ideas will be relevant to parents, caregivers and teachers alike.
I hope this site inspires you to do more at home with your children (if you aren't already) and/or to try new things wherever you are teaching.
Side note: I do not post pictures of my children's faces online. So instead, you will see many Wilson-like photos (think Tim Allen's neighbor on Home Improvement) of them as we have our fun.
I look forward to sharing our endeavors with you all,
The Master's Daughter, Angela
Disclaimer: I have been creating, collecting and sharing ideas for crafts, recipes and the like for over 20 years. (Am I really old enough to say that?!?!) What I share will not all be my original ideas and some may even be adaptations of others' ideas. I will, however, give credit if I know where the idea originated.
